Fight of Ages 4

Fight of Ages IV is a text MMORPG. No download. Persistent empire of sand and ash, year 1360. Humans and Dark Elves. Mage, Knight, Warrior, Ranger. You wake in Pelinya (0N/0E). The parchment runs 500N to 500S, 500W to 500E. Compass ticks are 0.2 units on foot — small enough to stand on a cave mouth. Twenty-two towns. Black dots are dungeon mouths.

Souls stop at level 80. The empire is cut into bands like the old kingdoms: Pelinya Ash is 1–10, Frostbarrow and Greymarch are 72–80. Foes on a stretch of sand match that band, not your level. Walk a high band young and the sand will kill you. Walk a low band old and the xp goes gray.

The brass rose is the Third Age compass: tap N/E/S/W to face, tap GO (or Enter) to walk. Arrow keys and WASD step a tile. The chronicle book plays first; Enter Pelinya opens the hall.
